When we work together in a birth doula capacity, I provide steady, non-medical support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I work alongside your chosen medical or midwifery providers, offering preparation, attentiveness, and clear communication within a defined scope of care.
The work is relational and responsive, shaped by what is needed in the moment. Prenatal visits focus on preparation and connection, and during birth I remain present and engaged, offering guidance with breath, movement, positioning, and communication. The structure through which this support is offered is outlined below.

Birth support is offered through clearly defined care structures that provide continuity, preparation, and on-call presence surrounding your estimated due date. All families receive the same level of continuous birth support, education, guidance, and postpartum follow-up. Differences between care structures reflect how you wish to prepare for birth and what additional forms of integrative support you would like to include.
Preparation may include education and birth planning sessions, Traditional Chinese Medicine support, yoga-based childbirth preparation, or medicinal placenta preparation. Care structures are reviewed together during consultation so timing, preferences, and fit can be discussed with clarity and care.

The Yoga of Birth is a childbirth education and preparation workshop for expectant couples. The teaching centers the internal state as the primary birthing environment, exploring how awareness, presence, and physiological calm influence the experience of birth. Preparation includes breath and relaxation practices, yogic birthing positions, partner-assisted movement, and clear, responsive communication.
This practice offers a clear framework for understanding birth as a physiological and experiential process. Couples cultivate confidence, clarity, and practical skills that remain useful across a wide range of birth experiences. The Yoga of Birth may be taken on its own or integrated into birth support for families who choose to work together in that capacity.

“I gave birth without medication, just as I had hoped. I used the breathwork, body awareness, and deep relaxation techniques we practiced. Your voice echoed in my mind through the entire experience.”
— Tracy Q.“The Yoga of Birth made a huge difference in how I gave birth. The tools and clarity I gained stayed with me even during an unexpected hospital transfer.”
— Sophie A.“The Yoga of Birth helped us individualize our birthing experience without promoting a ‘right’ way. We felt informed and capable in making decisions as things unfolded.”
— Lauren H.“Holly personally picked up my placenta from the hospital, prepared it medicinally, and provided a placenta body wash. Everything was handled with such care, and it truly supported my postpartum recovery.”
